Educational visits

Warren Farms Each educational visit is designed to suit the individual group coming, whether it is a preschool outing looking at lambing or a university studying environmental management. We can cater for whole or half day visits and tailor make the trip to your class.

Because Warren Farm is part of a Countryside Stewardship Scheme, Natural England give all under sixteen year old educational groups access to registered farms for free. Some schools combine their visit to Warren Farm with a history trip to the moated farmhouse at Lower Brockhampton, which is a National Trust property.

This is a working farm and so most young animals are born in the spring time. Our lambing takes place in April most years and can be a fascinating trip for any school group. On our vegetable patch we look at soil and compost, growing and sowing, planting and picking of vegetables and flowers.

Most visits are more suited to the summer months because the weather is kinder and there is more opportunity to explore whilst visiting the farm. Get in touch and see how we can help you plan your visit.
